Dear Friend, All my life I have been an athlete. Playing every sport until junior high followed by running track and playing football in high school. I started weight training in college, but I also struggled with an addiction to alcohol and drugs at the same time. Four years ago I decided to get clean and sober and haven't had a drink or drug since. Trading one addiction for another, I began an addiction to fast food. Three and half years after I got clean and sober I found myself 50 lbs overweight. I was lazy, uncomfortable, embarrassed and down right unhappy with my weight. To top it off, I had a beautiful fiance that I was about wed that coming summer. So in January 2011 I pledged to loose weight and get into the best shape of my life. I laced up the running shoes, and hit the weights. But most importantly I changed my diet.
