June - Warmer Summer!

Dear ,

The weather is getting warmer and the summer months are here! June is officially Men's Health Month, so we've decided to focus this issue of the EnergyFirst Edge on some issues that men often grapple with - heart health, cholesterol, and the importance of protein for building muscle mass!

Men typically have a higher instance of heart disease, which means they should pay particular attention to their blood pressure, cholesterol numbers, and heart rate. When blood pressure is high, it can cause problems with the entire cardiovascular and circulatory system. When cholesterol is high (particularly with a low HDL), it forms blockages in the blood vessels. This combination is a one-way ticket to a heart attack.

Take a look at this month's article on the importance of Omega 3's in boosting your heart health.

Lastly, protein is one of the best ways that men can help build a stronger and sleeker physique. Check out this article on the importance of protein in building a lean, powerful physique!

Let's make this June the best ever!
Get healthy and get EnergyFirst!

Yours in great health,
