Many people overlook the importance that the amount and quality of their sleep has on their overall health and well-being. In fact, the National Sleep Foundation and the Centers for Disease Control have found that sleep deficiency is a national health epidemic that has serious consequences. Since May is National Better Sleep Month, we will explore how you can make sure that you have enough sleep to be at your best.

When people have high blood pressure, they often have to sit out the fun sports and activities that are an essential part of many get together with family and friends. In observance of National High Blood Pressure Awareness Month, we will review what you can do to avoid the health problems associated with hypertension.
