Spring of Wellness!
“The ability to be in the present moment is a major component of mental wellness.” — Abraham Maslow
Dear ,
Happy Earth Month! Along with that special highlight, April has much to offer. It’s a time when people start getting outdoors again–in between those last few rain showers–which can really help disperse the end–of–winter doldrums. Since we first evolved, humans have anticipated spring, especially the first fresh greens. Check your local farmer’s market to see what’s in season in your area.
April is also Stress Awareness Month, which is important since many people under chronic stress don’t always realize the toll it takes on their wellness. Learn more here about zapping stress naturally.
This is also Defeat Diabetes Month. Can you actually defeat diabetes? Health experts like Dr. Julian Whittaker, author of Reversing Diabetes, have long believed a nutritional approach is highly effective in combating this condition. Check out this news flash to learn more.
Finally, why not take the beginning of spring as your cue for a little personal renewal? Spending time in nature, and playing with children and pets are great ways to be in the moment, which–as the above quote implies–offers a natural wellness lift as well.
Peace, joy and happy spring tidings!
