Greenergy Antioxidants

Is wheat grass juice really worth the cost?

You’ve probably heard that wheat grass juice is loaded with antioxidants that can help you recover from hard workouts, so you so you’re tempted to try it out.

But then when you go to your local juice bar, you get sticker shock when you see that a one-ounce shot of wheat grass costs $3.50 to $5.  What gives?  Is it really worth it?

It depends.  Most commercial wheat grass is grown indoors, in greenhouses, and is thus highly susceptible to mold.  If you’ve ever drank a shot of wheatgrass then gotten a headache—and you know you’re sensitive to mild—the culprit was probably greenhouse-grown wheatgrass.

The cure for this is to ask your juice bar how the wheatgrass was grown, or to grow your own wheatgrass and juice it yourself, or to use EnergyFirst Greenergy which provides a healthy serving of wheatgrass.

What is it about wheatgrass that makes it so special?  Well, each and every process within your body requires a precise combination of vitamins, minerals, enzymes, amino acids and essential fatty acids to function properly.

When an essential part is missing, a process will either not be completed, require tremendous amounts of energy to be complete or be completed incorrectly.

Wheatgrass juice is the gold standard of nutrition because it can single-handedly support the human body.  It can do this because it contains an abundance of many nutritious elements and it is delivered in a natural living state.

Where does it come from?

Wheatgrass juice is produced from red winter wheat. It begins life as seed, sprouts into a grass, matures slowly as it stores a burst of growth energy and then shoots into the familiar wheat stalk loaded with grain.

Wheatgrass should be harvested during the grassy stage, when it is loaded with living energy.  It is juiced by squeezing the tender young blades of the wheat plant to produce a rich, dark green liquid.

Gerry Morton, CEO of EnergyFirst, says that property produced wheatgrass juice contains more than a hundred of the following health-builders:

  • Vitamins
  • Minerals
  • Amino acids
  • Enzymes
  • Essential fatty acids

About the only thing wheat grass juice doesn’t contain is a significant amount of calories.  So if you’re looking for a convenient, power-packed source of nutrition, wheat grass is definitely worth the money for a quick and long-lasting pick-me-up.  Take a shot of EnergyFirst Greenergy and get your wheatgrass dosage today!
