- Berries—Blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries are loaded with proanthocyanidins, which are the antioxidants that may help in preventing cancer as well as heart disease. Additionally, strawberries, raspberries and blackberries have ellagic acid, which is a plant compound that fights carcinogens.
