One year ago, I made 2 changes to my diet:
- ProEnergy whey protein shakes for breakfast
- Replaced Coke and juices for Greenergy and Green Tea (hot and iced).
I did this for the last year and then had my blood tested.
- Triglicerides reduced from 205 to 108
- Cholesterol reduced 60 points to 147
- Cholesterol/HDL reduced from 6.3 to 3.5
- Blood pressure stayed the same at 140/83
- LDL particle pattern: No risk (first time tested).
I am pleased that I got these numbers under control before I encountered any health problem and while I can still compete at tennis: I won two tournaments this summer. The one in Manhattan Beach was against 20-somethings.
